A fully funded two-year postdoctoral position (“ASSEGNO DI RICERCA”) is immediately available in my newly starting laboratory in the Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Pavia, Italy, to study the structure, dynamics and phase separation of intrinsically disordered proteins involved in RNA splicing and its regulation. We have access to two liquid-state NMR spectrometers (800 and 400 MHz) plus a state-of-the-art facility in X-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy, mass spectrometry, transmission electron microscopy, confocal microscopy and fluorescence and circular dichroism spectroscopy. The successful applicant should have a PhD in Structural Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry/Biophysics, Molecular Biology or a related field. Previous experience with NMR-based structural biology and/or molecular biology methods is highly desirable. We seek a highly motivated talented candidate willing to and capable of working on challenging projects independently and in cooperation with the other group members. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the mentoring of junior PhD and Master students in the group. Interested candidates should send their CV and a cover letter including two references to me at this address nasrollah.rezaieghaleh@unipv.it. The interview process will start immediately.
