NMR Day: “NMR of porous systems: applications to building materials and cultural heritage”

Organisers: Silvia Borsacchi (ICCOM-CNR), Lucia Calucci (ICCOM-CNR), and Marco Geppi (University of Pisa)

Location: Chemistry Department, University of Pisa

Date: 7 June 2016

This NMR Day is dedicated to illustrate NMR techniques useful for investigating porous systems of interest as building materials and in cultural heritage. Different aspects of high and low resolution methods, such as MAS NMR spectroscopy, 1H NMR relaxometry, unilateral NMR and cryoporometry, will be covered. Key lectures on subjects complementary to NMR will also be given by experts in the fields of materials science and computational methods.
